The lambda Iota chapter places heavy emphasis on academics. We consistently place in the top 15semester GPA for fraternities on Purdue’s campus. In addition, the chapter’s semester GPA is consistently above the Purdue all men’s average.
The chapter takes steps to ensure scholarship is a top priority for its members.The chapter also takes punitive measures to encourage academic success.
- Peer tutoring –brothers from almost every major at Purdue are willing and eager to help each other with academic challenges.
- There are monthly touch points with the scholarship chair to see how things are going,and to provide aid when necessary
